Review of: Minakami Rafting

I came here twice in a year for good reason! This is an exciting trip and experience. If you never had done this this is a great location to do this for the first time. The staff, especially Sam, is terrific. They are knowledgeable and make the trip fun!

We had a great half day rafting trip traversing rapids and jumping off cliffs! Simple amazing!

After the rafting trip, we quenched our thirst and appetite with their deliciously made hamburger, fries and ice cold beer! It was probably one of the best burgers I had ever had.

I highly recommend going to Canyons and experiencing this.

Review of: Minakami Rafting

We’ve done half day rafting here twice now, once in August and another time in October. Both times were a lot of fun! As a first timer in October, the waters were more calm and definitely a great start point for beginners. The waters were more intense and rapid in August which allowed for a super thrilling experience. We think we’ll do another rafting experience again in the spring, as we were told that’s when the waters are the highest and most intense! The instructors are all really fun and want to make sure you have a good time.

Review of: Fox Canyoning & Rafting Combo Tour

I'd give 10 billion stars if I could. Everything was perfect. I arrive extremely early (I think maybe before they even opened) but the team was so welcoming. The guides (Ko, Jouri, Ashok, Bob-Adam, Bernie, and EVERYONE) are professional, friendly, funny, and make you feel like family. I felt so sad leaving after a day with them! I did the half day canyoning and rafting tour. It was so fun and I am a huge pansy. They made me feel comfortable. You do need to be in some sort of physical shape. The water trekking with gear for canyoning is no joke, a good workout! After the tour, they'll send you complimentary photos and videos. This company does it allllll right!

Oh an the burger was the bomb.com for lunch. Perfect after a morning on the water. If I was staying in Japan longer, I'd Glamp there, or do more tours. Don't miss out on seeing this beautiful scenery while in Japan. I have also heard great things about the Okutama branch.
