We run tours throughout Japan but mostly at our 2 summer bases of Minakami and Okutama. Both areas are rich in nature and culture with some of the best rivers and canyons in Japan.
2023 Summer Season Staff
Do you love working in hospitality? Canyons runs 2 cafes, one in Okutama and one in Minakami that serve delicoius locally produced food and drinks. We are looking for food prepaeration and service staff to help with breakfast, lunches, bar time and BBQ's.
Minakami Cafe staff
prep work in the kitchen make sure that all kitchen stations are clean and ready to open chop vegetables, prepare sauces, prepare patties.
take orders, answer questions about the food, deliver the food to the table, and receive payment from the customers. expected to set and clear tables and keep the front of the house clean. assisting with food preparation wash dishes
Season: May - October
Pay: From 1000 yen per hour (depending on experience and skills)
Work hours: 5-8 hour shift between 6:00- 22:00

Minakami Cleaning staff
Canyons runs glamping tents and lodge in Minakami. We are looking for cleaning staff .
Season: May - October (July- September short season also available)
Pay: From 1000 yen per hour (depending on experience and skills)
Work hours: 5 hour shift between 7:00- 16:00
Weekend and holiday only work also available.
Helps if you have:

>Some converational Japanese
Okutama Cafe staff
Season: April - November
Pay: From 1050 yen per hour (depending on experience and skills)
Work hours: 6-8 hour shift
Those who want to work for a short period of time on a working holiday visa are also welcome.
