With all the essential elements of canyoning to enjoy (sliders, jumps and rope work), this offers a great easy introductory experience. If you are looking for something a little more exciting we recommend Big Holy Canyon in Okutama or Fox Canyon in Minakami.

* Tours will still run if it is raining though excessively high water may cause the tour to be cancelled
* No alcohol is permitted prior to the tour. Furthermore, anyone who cannot participate on the tour due to having consumed alcohol will be liable for cancellation charges

Hot Spring
Relax in a soothing hot spring (onsen).
Although Okutama is not famous for its hot springs there are a few reals gems that are a great way to relax after a canyoning adventure, especially in the colder months (April and October) Moegi no Yu is a fantastic onsen facility very close to Okutama Station. After a dip you can also check out the craft beer cafe Vetere.
