Maple Canyon
Maple Canyon is located high in a native forest mid way up the Minakami mountains at the entrance to Oze National Park. The course is made up of a series of great slides and small jumps (1-3m) that is great for timid first time canyoners or can be tweaked to cater for slightly higher thrill seekers. The water is crystal clear and so pure you can drink straight out of the river. It is a 40 minute drive from our base facility but well worth it.
Please note: As the course is set at a reasonably high altitude the water is very "fresh", so we can only run this course during August.

* If you wear glasses, please bring a strap (also available at Canyons) If you wear glasses we recommend using disposable contact lenses

* Pregnant ladies cannot participate on this tour
* Tours will still run if it is raining though excessively high water may cause the tour to be cancelled
* No alcohol is permitted prior to the tour. Furthermore, anyone who cannot participate on the tour due to having consumed alcohol will be liable for cancellation charges
