RIVERSIDE OASIS
AN ULTIMATE GLAMPING EXPERIENCE
The newly opened Minakami Riverside Oasis Glamping (glamorous camping) area is perfectly located at the entrance to Joshinetsu National Park adjacent to Canyons Minakami Base. Surrounded by native forest in a secluded valley, the site overlooks the pure emerald green waters of the Yubiso River, one of the most picturesque rivers in the Minakami area.
We also have the Canyons Minakami Guest House for those on more of a budget, that still want to make the most of Minakami.
In the daytime you can enjoy one of the many outdoor activities that Canyons has on offer or just relax at your private river setting and make the most of "the swimhole". In the evening enjoy a delicious BBQ of select local produce, sit by the fire and enjoy a panorama of stars.
GLAMPING AND TENT TYPE
All of Canyons tents are produced by YALA glamping tents, Europes largest glamping manufacturer. These tents are designed for comfort and space while blending in perfectly to the natural surroundings.
Space design
Riverside Oasis was designed and built by Aoraki Glamping and Design. Japans premiere glamping company.
Winter Glamping
From December 2022 Riverside Oasis will start winter glamping. The tents will keep you cosy and warm even with over 2m of snow outside!

GENERAL INFO
There is no running water or fridge facilities in the camping area, except Sunshine Tent. Toilets & shower facilities are available at the main base just 50m away
Towel and bed linen are provided. In an effort to preserve resources, we do not change linens or towels during your stay.
Smoking is not allowed in the Riverside Oasis. Please smoke only in designated areas.
Quiet time is from 10:00pm until 7:00am.While our tents are spread apart, sounds do travel. Please be considerate of your neighbors.
We are pet friendly but must use a cage with bottom in the tent.
Children under 3y.o can stay for free when sharing bed with their parents.

Booking & Payment
Booking is required. The glamping tents can be booked with any outdoor tour booking by simply choosing the "Glamping + Tour package". Availability is not real-time for glamping so we will reply to your requests by email to let you know if the site is available on your preferred dates.

Canyons Glamping Includes Breakfast!
Western breakfast is included in the accommodation price. Breakfast is available from 07:00 - 09:00 AM at the cafe.
